About Us
Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health (NSRH; formerly known as Nursing Students for Choice) is a national, campus chapter based, advocacy and education organization dedicated to increasing access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) content at all levels of nursing education.
NSRH at UCSF welcomes any undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral level students who are interested in ensuring that nurses are fully trained in full spectrum sexual and reproductive health. NSRH at UCSF regularly collaborates with UCSF's Medical Students for Choice, and membership includes students from other professional schools, such as the UCSF School of Pharmacy and School of Dentistry. In the past, NSRH at UCSF has co-hosted events with UC Hasting's Law Students for Reproductive Justice to promote interprofessional advocacy and collaboration across the UC system. NSRH's national goals are rooted in the belief that students across the country can be inspired to join our cause with organizational support from current NSRH student leaders. Such networking will allow more students to utilize their nursing skills and broaden their training to improve the total reproductive healthcare experience of patients nationwide.
