This course encourages students to look outside of academic institutions for historic knowledge of environmental and public health issues impacting San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunters Point. The elective facilitates collaborations among community members, students, and faculty to offer an effective model for how to support community-led efforts addressing the environmental factors that impact public health.
