The Filipino American Medical Student Association (FAMSA) is committed to advancing the well-being of the Filipino-American community and the broader society through the collective efforts of Filipino-American medical students. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive space where Filipino-American medical students can thrive academically, culturally, and professionally. By promoting cultural awareness, we strive to enhance cross-cultural humility, enabling our members to provide culturally sensitive and effective healthcare. We are dedicated to addressing healthcare disparities through advocacy and community service. FAMSA also seeks to provide a supportive network for Filipino-American medical students, offering mentorship, resources, and opportunities for leadership development.
