About Us

Students for Justice in Palestine at UCSF (SJP@UCSF) is an interprofessional coalition of students who see Palestine as the vanguard for our collective liberation. We support freedom and justice for all people. True collective freedom will arise when all communities have equal rights, opportunities to pursue their dreams, and access to healthcare, land, and life-sustaining necessities. SJP@UCSF is an organization grounded in freedom, solidarity, equality, safety, and justice, focusing on elevating the student movement for Palestinian liberation. At UCSF, we aim to develop a movement that: 1) Centers justice for Palestinians amidst decades of occupation and apartheid through investing in Palestinian healthcare infrastructure and civil society as well as divestment from militarization, occupation, and apartheid. 2) Demands UCSF support sustainable structure for anti-imperial and anti-colonial work. 3) Connects with all movements advocating for health justice for communities facing oppression within and outside the United States. The focus of our organization is on dismantling the systems and positions of power that perpetuate and support genocide/occupation/imperialism.
