VAMSA Community Health Fair

VAMSA would like to inform you of an opportunity to engage in health screenings for the Vietnamese community in San Leandro on Friday, May 17th from 9AM-3PM. Volunteers can screen for hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular risk factors by measuring people's blood pressure, assessing body fat percentage, and bone density. Volunteers can also engage with the community to discuss the importance of smoking cessation and managing blood pressure and weight. It would be helpful to speak Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin, but it is not required to participate in the event. Event details will be sent out a week before the event.
