APAMSA is partnering with NMDP to host a bone marrow donor registration drive. We will be performing cheek swabs on consented participants to register them as potential bone marrow donors that could have the potential to save lives. The ideal donors are ages 18-35, and anyone at UCSF can participate. In collaboration with NMDP, we are hoping to also increase the diversity of the donor pool to increase the chances of finding matches for ethnically diverse individuals.
