This November, Bikes! at UCSF is clocking out and rolling over to The Homestead, a Mission District institution that's been keeping San Franciscans company since 1902.
The old saloon has survived earthquakes, Prohibition, a few questionable characters, and more than a century of neighborhood stories. Through it all, one thing hasn't changed: it's still a place where people come together.
Now it's our turn to add a few bicycles to the story.
Join us for an easy post-work slow ride from UCSF Mission Bay to one of San Francisco's classic neighborhood watering holes.
Ride with us or meet us there. We'll park the bikes, find a table, catch up with fellow riders and spend an evening talking bicycles—or whatever else comes up.
No presentations. No agenda. No particular reason to hurry.

🕟 Gather at 4:30 p.m.
🚲 Roll out at 4:45 p.m.
We'll take an easy, social ride through San Francisco to The Homestead. No racing, no dropping riders. The city is more interesting at bicycle speed anyway.
🚲 Bike parking: Bike racks and a bike corral are located near The Homestead, with a Bay Wheels bikeshare station nearby. Bring a lock if you're riding your own bike.
🌧️ Rain cancels all rides and the meetup.

No Lycra required. No pace to keep. No need to drink alcohol. Just bikes, people and a good place to land after work.
