About Us
Biostats club is an interprofessional club with monthly meetings geared towards fostering the fundamentals of biostatistics and their proper application among those in the student body. Each topic of the month is chosen by a volunteer speaker, and is not necessarily built on previous meetings. A special emphasis is placed on teaching about common errors which occur in the application of each biostatistics topic and how the topic may be executed computationally. The speakers are encouraged to develop presentations in a topic of which they are non-experts but interested in applying.
