About Us
Description: The CARE Initiative is a student-led organization dedicated to advancing reproductive health education and promoting equitable access to resources for women and marginalized communities. As an official Registered Campus Organization (RCO), we partner with local women’s shelters and community organizations to host interactive, evidence-based educational trainings. Our sessions cover a wide range of reproductive health topics, including menstrual health, perimenopause, fibroids, contraception, and maternal wellness. Purpose: The purpose of the CARE Initiative is to empower individuals with knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their reproductive health while addressing disparities in education and access. Through hands-on workshops, community-centered outreach, and collaborative efforts with local partners, we aim to foster trust, reduce stigma, and create lasting connections between medical students and the communities we serve. By building sustainable educational programs, CARE also provides a platform for students to develop leadership, advocacy, and teaching skills that will inform their future roles as compassionate healthcare professionals.
