This event is a collaborative effort between COSA’s Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Project and the Square Heart Community. Approved COSA Project SUD volunteers will help lead an Opioid Prevention and Overdose Response Training on January 24, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, focused on equipping high school students with essential skills in informed care practices and Naloxone (Narcan) overdose response.

Volunteers interested in assisting with the January 24 outreach event are required to attend a mandatory pre-training session on January 10, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This pre-training will prepare volunteers with standardized content, outreach expectations, and hands-on guidance to ensure effective and safe community engagement.

This collaboration aims to empower youth through education, harm reduction strategies, and lifesaving overdose response training while fostering meaningful community partnerships.
