Mission
The Data Science Interest Group (DSIG) is an interprofessional organization with the goal of building high-yield data science skills with a focus on healthcare research. The group brings together hands-on collaborative skill building, bridging knowledge gaps between professions, and creating an avenue for research projects and support. This group provides a critical student connection to work being done by local research groups such as the Data Science Initiative (DSI), Institute of Computational Health Sciences (ICHS), and informatics specialties.
