Mission
The mission of the UCSF Global Nursing Forum is to empower nurses in the global community in areas of practice, research, leadership, and scholarship:

o To identify and promote local and global community outreach, partnerships, and engagements.
o To identify and exchange knowledge about culturally sensitive global health issues impact nurses professionally.
o Engage in nursing activities and events among the partner schools of nursing with the goal of empowering nurses and improving the care of populations in the global community.
o To serve as the liaison between UCSF School of Nursing, Global Health Sciences, and the general UCSF community to promote both local and international interdisciplinary and or interschool collaborations, in areas of research, leadership, and practice.
o To identify learning opportunities, both local and international, that enriches our education in the form of distance learning, professional forums, capstone projects and research experiences that pertain to global health issues.
