Mission
Perio Club at UCSF raises interest and educates dental students on the practices of periodontology, ranging from scaling and root planing to dental implants and various types of surgeries performed by periodontists. Past students (those that are already in a periodontal program) will be able to share their experiences of applying to various periodontal programs. Furthermore, Perio Club aims to highlight the fundamentals and importance of periodontology to the field of dentistry.
