At the PhotoClub, we aim to share our passion and knowledge about photography with UCSF students and staff. Our members range from novices with no camera and an interest in learning photography, to experienced photographers who have shot professionally. We meet monthly, and our sessions are organized in two blocks, including one collective presentation during which all of our members are welcome to present two pictures matching a theme picked at the end of the previous session. During the other block, we alternate workshops (techniques, editing, tips) and presentations of our members (trips, events...). Our members are welcome to organize informal photography outings, to practice a particular technique or to discover or re-discover areas of the city with a new eye. Our next challenge will be to organize an exhibit sometimes at the end of the academic year. Join us and be part of our new and exciting adventure!
