About Us

We recognize that ultrasound is enhancing and rapidly expanding the practice of health care practitioners all around the country and the world. It is widely becoming what new generations of doctors are calling, "the future stethoscope." This student group is here to help you learn how to use point-of-care ultrasound to enhance your clinical practice. Through electives, conferences, and outreach, we hope to offer an outlet for anyone in the UCSF community to get involved in learning more about this new clinical tool and bringing the skills necessary to apply it as we move forward in our careers.
