Nowruz, or Persian New Year, is a celebration of the spring equinox, marking the start of a new year in the Persian calendar. It is a time of renewal, joy, and togetherness, observed by millions across Iran, Central Asia, and beyond. Traditions include setting up a Haft-Seen table with symbolic items, cleaning homes, visiting loved ones, and enjoying festive foods. The holiday lasts for about two weeks, ending with Sizdah Bedar, a day spent outdoors to embrace nature and welcome good fortune for the year ahead.
