About Us

The ACCP (American College of Clinical Pharmacy) is an international association of clinical pharmacists dedicated to promoting innovative science, developing successful models of practice, and disseminating new knowledge to advance pharmacotherapy and patient care. The SCCP (Student College of Clinical Pharmacy) Student Chapter at UCSF aims to orient students to the practice of clinical pharmacy and clinical research by: -Providing information to students about careers and opportunities within the field of clinical pharmacy and research. -Promoting dedication to excellence in patient care, research, and education. -Encouraging skill development necessary to function within an interdisciplinary and research team. SCCP at UCSF also aims to advocate for the role of clinical pharmacists within healthcare. We encourage participation in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy at the national level and/or the local/regional chapters.
