Training the Brain for Calm: Insights from Neuroscience and Psychology

Visiting seminar by Dr. Prashant Kakoday, titled "Training the Brain for Calm: Insights from Neuroscience and Psychology", on Friday, May 15, 11 am-12 noon.

Dr. Prashant Kakoday is the Director for Center for Integral Health, Cambridge, UK. He has a background in E.N.T. surgery and integrated health exploring how shifts in awareness can influence both mental and physical health. He has authored a few books and his views on health entitled "The Concept of Total Health" were presented to various medical institutions including the WHO.

In this talk, Dr. Kakoday will share about how calm attention can quietly change the brain, and how small, everyday shifts in where we place our attention can reduce reactivity, support emotional balance and help us feel steadier, clearer and more resilient in daily life.
