About Us
The Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Association (IDPA) exists to both cultivate interest and foster a deeper understanding of infectious diseases pharmacy among students by creating an inclusive environment for education, exploration, and collaboration. We aim to provide opportunities for students to engage in the fields' hot topics, such as antimicrobial stewardship, emerging infectious diseases, and vaccine development, as well as participate in evidence-based management strategies through interactive workshops, case discussions, guest lectures from infectious disease experts, and community outreach initiatives. Additionally, we hope to inspire future leaders in pharmacy who are well-prepared to address global health challenges, and advocate for responsible practices that improve public health outcomes. Through collaboration, education, and engagement, the IDPA seeks to empower student pharmacists to make meaningful contributions toward the fight against infectious diseases.
