Dear TMO Members,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our TMO Kickoff Event! Your energy and engagement made it an incredible success, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going.
We’re thrilled to announce that applications are now open for Chair Committee Representatives from each UCSF school:
Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and the Graduate Division.
Each school will have one Chair Representative, except for the Graduate Division, which will now have three Chair positions to reflect its diverse programs.
Role Summary
Chair Committee Representatives serve as liaisons between their respective schools and TMO, facilitating collaboration with RCOs, promoting interprofessional engagement, and advising on school-specific needs.
This is a one-year leadership commitment (2025–2026) offering the opportunity to help shape TMO’s interdisciplinary initiatives and lead impactful projects across UCSF.
Responsibilities
- Represent your school at TMO Board meetings, especially when inter-school or inter-RCO topics are discussed
- Propose at least two event initiatives per academic year in collaboration with the Internal Board
- Attend all meetings and planning sessions related to your proposed events
- Serve as a liaison between TMO and your school’s RCOs, councils, or student organizations
- Uphold TMO’s mission, vision, and core values of equity, collaboration, innovation, and integrity
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled UCSF student in good academic standing within the school/division you represent
- Must graduate no earlier than May 2026
- Must not be on academic probation
- Must sign the TMO Constitution & Handbook Acknowledgment Form upon selection
Application Requirements
- Letter of Intent (1 page) explaining:
- Why you would like to serve as a TMO Chair Representative
- How your background and interests align with TMO’s mission
- Current résumé or CV
Selection Process
The selection process will be led by the Executive Director in collaboration with the Faculty Advisor, Director of Records, and the Internal Board.
Final decisions will be based on leadership potential, alignment with TMO’s mission, and demonstrated commitment to interprofessional collaboration.
