TMO Networking & Industry Showcase: Connecting Students and Industry
The Translational Medicine Organization (TMO) successfully hosted its first Networking & Showcase event, bringing together students, industry professionals, and interdisciplinary leaders across UCSF.
This event created a space for meaningful conversations around innovation, clinical practice, and industry pathways, with representation from pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, graduate programs, and beyond. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals from organizations including Amgen, AstraZeneca, Tempus AI, Omnicell, 4D Molecular Therapeutics, and Gravitas Medical.
Through these conversations, attendees gained insight into diverse career pathways and the evolving landscape of healthcare, particularly at the intersection of clinical practice, research, and industry.
The event emphasized TMO’s mission to foster interprofessional collaboration and expand visibility into non-traditional career opportunities within healthcare and translational medicine.
We are proud of the strong engagement from both students and partners and look forward to continuing to build on this momentum through future programming.
