About Us

The “Bugs, Drugs, & Beyond” Infectious Disease Interest Group at UCSF will serve the professional and graduate student community through (1) enhancing exposure to ID topics via a lecture series and mentorship events, (2) creating an intensive fall elective for course credit, (3) formulating a directory of potential ID research and career faculty mentors, and (4) identifying opportunities for shadowing ID clinical experiences. We are an interdisciplinary interest group designed for students across various schools (SOM, SOP, SON, SOD, PT).
