Welcome to Pediatrics Interest Group at UCSF!

Our Mission

The Pediatrics Interest Group (PIG) aims to support medical students at UCSF who want to explore general pediatrics, pediatric subspecialties, or other career opportunities in children's health. We work to foster a sense of community amongst medical students who share an interest in pediatrics, while also facilitating mentorship and connections through events with peers, residents, fellows, and attendings. Additionally, we publicize opportunities to get involved with events and outside organizations related to child and adolescent health.

Events & Activities

PIG collaborates closely with the UCSF Department of Pediatrics to hold a variety of events and activities during the academic year such as career fairs and workshops.

Connections

PIG offers medical students multiple opportunities to connect with others interested in pediatrics across all stages of training, from other students to attendings.

Updates

From time to time, PIG receives unique opportunities in pediatrics that we share with students. By joining our listserv, you'll get those updates seamlessly!
