About Us

The UCSF Pathology Student Interest Group (PSIG) aims to increase student exposure to the fields of anatomic and clinical pathology. PSIG is led by medical students with faculty mentorship from Dr. Raga Ramachandran. Through seminars, a lunchtime lecture series, skills sessions, physician shadowing, and other activities, PSIG attempts to expand student understanding of pathology's vital role in modern medicine. The group also increases awareness of the many sub-specialties within pathology and provides mentoring for students considering a career in this field.
