About Us
Our goal is to promote mental wellness by the SKY (sudarshan kriya yoga) technique, a scientifically validated meditative breathing practice that can significantly increase one's well-being and calmness, reduces anxiety and stress markers and improve mental focus. SKY provides tools to build resilience, clarity of mind and social connection. We aim to empower UCSF staff, postdocs, and faculty to develop and maintain a stress-free mind with a healthy and energetic body so we all achieve more as individuals and part of the community. Our innovative life-skills training programs combine breath-work and meditation with experiential processes so attendees gain valuable skills to better navigate personal, social, and academic pressures.
