Survey
Student Life would like your feedback about your student organization experience, support from our office, and the Group Portal. We would greatly appreciate it if you could participate in a survey by May 15 to provide us feedback so we can better meet your RCO needs. Students who complete the survey will be entered in a chance to win one of eight $25 gift cards.
Events
Please remember to submit your student organization meetings and events into the Group Portal—even if the event already occurred and/or held online. Eligibility for registration next year will depend on your organization’s activity level this year. RCOs are required to have one event per quarter. This event can be any type of activity.
Funding
All student RCOs are eligible to apply for funding for one-time expenses to assist with managing and engaging their organization. RCOs may apply for funding for a variety of operating expenses, such as: a purchase of a website domain, graduation regalia, branded tchotchke or t-shirts, reimbursement for a design application like Canva or InDesign, equipment, etc. Funding requests up to $500 may be submitted in the Group Portal as an “Operations: Administrative Supplies” budget request. All RCOs are eligible. Reimbursements must be submitted by June 15 (after budget request is approved).
Reimbursements
Students RCOs that have approved budget requests in the Group Portal must submit all reimbursements by June 15. Approved budget requests will not roll over to the next fiscal year. Any reimbursements submitted 30 past expense date may be subject to additional taxes.
Registration
Student organization registration will be rolling from July 1-September 30. All student organizations registered by September 30 will be considered a registered group for the academic year until June 30.
