Dear Students Leaders,
With the recent uptick in coronavirus cases, your safety and wellbeing are our main priorities. Per campus guidelines emailed today, indoor events must be postponed or canceled, and outdoor events are capped at 24 people. Out of an abundance of caution, and because the situation continues to be in flux, we ask you to consider postponing or canceling all in-person events through September 30, 2021.
We understand that your organization may have already spent a significant amount of time and money in organizing the event and we would like to support your group in managing these changes.
Please contact us if:
- you need assistance with canceling or postponing your event or have questions regarding money already spent.
- you have any questions on how to use campus technology as an alternate to an in-person gathering.
- your organization is involved in an activity or event off-campus, such as a health clinic.
It is difficult to predict exactly how this situation will evolve over the next few weeks and we understand that these can be anxious and stressful times. We encourage you to support and look out for one another and reach out to campus support services if needed. Once the recommendations are lifted or if they change, we will reach out again.
