ANAMS at UCSF also promotes cultural understanding and an awareness of the health disparities affecting Native American/Alaskan Native peoples through educational programs and campus events.

Benchtop Gamers is a University of California - San Francisco based organization dedicated to providing accessible, no-cost environments for board gaming enthusiasts at all skill and ability levels. Best Buddies at UCSF will match UCSF students and faculty with buddies through the San Francisco Unified School District Adult Transition Program. The Chamber Music Society at UCSF (CMS at UCSF) is a student-run organization dedicated to creating opportunities for UCSF student and residents to participate in chamber musical performance and community outreach. The Society encourages students and residents to share their artistic talents through free concerts at UCSF, as well as through outreach and benefit performances at local healthcare organizations such as rehabilitation and hospice care facilities. The Society organizes sight-reading sessions at the beginning of each semester for musicians to form longitudinal chamber music groups, and helps them prepare for performances at the end of each semester. In addition, the Society will engage with other UCSF artistic organizations to explore the intersection of music and medicine, as well as the role of art in the pursuit of healing.

CHE (Chicanos/Latinos in Health Education) is an umbrella organization of LMSA (Latino Medical Student Association), HSDA (Hispanic Dental Student Association), LAPS (Latino Association of Pharmacy Students), Voces Latinas Nursing Student Association, and (LPTSA) Latine Physical Therapy Student Association. CHE unites Latino students and those interested in the Latino community, from within the various professional schools at UCSF. Our mission consists of an interdisciplinary approach that offers outreach, mentoring, cultural awareness, health education, and direct services to diverse communities in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Our goal is to unite as professional students who come from humble origins, in the hopes of serving as an inspiration to youth and future leaders in the health professions.

Christian Fellowship is an inter-professional group of Christian students at UCSF. We strive to connect fellow Christians with one another so that we may grow in our faith, serve, and build each other up as a body of Christ. We provide opportunities to build community inter-professionally as well as within each school by offering bi-weekly Bible studies, fellowship, inter-professional events, volunteer outreach, and retreats. The Clinical Ethnography Group aims to foster generative discussions on writings that use ethnographic techniques to explore health, illness, and clinical encounters in the context of culture. Through monthly meetings on selected draft texts, collaborative dialogue, and prolonged engagement, we aim to sharpen our understanding and practice of clinical ethnography while fostering a supportive community of social scientist scholars.
