  • Student Org Executive Boards

    Experience:

    Play a key part in organizing events & opportunities for UCSF students, act as student representatives for the chosen organization, engage with the national board (if applicable), help manage organization’s promotional materials & budgets.

    Recruitment:

    Applications open in December and close in January

    Duration:

    1 year

    Variable by year & student org

    All P1 students

  • P1 Committees

    Experience:

    Gain exposure to student organization processes & responsibilities by assisting executive boards in daily functions.

    Recruitment:

    Begins August, candidates selected by September

    Duration:

    1 year

    Number of positions:

    2 per student org

    Open to:

    All P1 students

  • National & Regional IPhO Officer

    Experience:

    Coordinate professional development for industry-minded students across the region (regional officer) or country (national officer). The roles will include opportunities for practicing professional written & oral communication, people & project management, organizing & attending networking events, as well as programming that fosters leadership & development.

    Recruitment:

    Begins January, recruitment remains open as long as is needed to fill all roles

    Duration:

    1 year

    Number of positions:

    Variable by year & student org

    Open to:

    National IPhO members, preference given to those with local IPhO experience

  • AMCP Student Pharmacist Committee

    Experience:

    Ensure AMCP awareness of issues, policies, programs, and services that impact student pharmacists as well as provide oversight and guidance to the AMCP Student Chapter program.

    Recruitment:

    Begins late September, ends November 1st.

    Duration:

    1-3 years

    Number of positions:

    15 total committee members; the number of new positions depends on the number of students that step down/graduate each year
